Not Dead Yet Tour Still Proceeds :)

I started to really like Phil’s when I listened “Against All Odds” ) – Feb 1984. Another one is Another day in Paradise that expresses his sensitivity about the poor:

Oh lord, is there nothing more anybody can do
Oh lord, there must be something you can say

Heard about the accident and got a serious head injury. Wish him recover well soon.

Here is the lastest news:

LILY Collins has reassured fans of her father Phil Collins that the singer is “doing good” after he suffered a serious head injury earlier this week.

The Easy Lover star was forced to cancel his London shows after The Sun’s Bizarre column exclusively revealed he had slipped in his hotel and had been rushed to hospital.

But keen to reassure followers of her father, his 28-year-old daughter said during an interview at the premiere of her new movie Okja last night: “He’s doing good, thank you”.

Her 66-year-old father had to postpone the last two London gigs after The Sun revealed the star tripped over a step in his bedroom at his London hotel following his concert and badly gashed his forehead.

Ambulances immediately dashed him to a London hospital for treatment and is believed to require surgery on his forehead.

It comes after he has been performing with a cane and sitting down throughout his gigs this week at the Royal Albert Hall. He has been forced to cancel the rest of his gigs in the capital.

A source said: “Phil is in a bad way with his head in bandages. He is conscious and talking, but he is frustrated and upset about having to cancel in his gigs.

A statement released to Bizarre said at the time: “We unfortunately have to announce that Phil Collins’ performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London will be postponed tonight (June 8) and tomorrow (June 9).

“Phil suffers from ‘drop foot’ as a result of a back operation which makes it difficult to walk.

“He rose in the middle of the night to go to the toilet and slipped in his hotel room, hitting his head in the fall on a chair.

“He was taken to hospital where he had stitches for a severe gash on his head close to his eye and is recovering well. He will be kept under observation for 24 hours.

“Phil sends his sincere apologies and thanks to fans. He has had a fantastic week at his first shows in 10 years, cannot thank people enough for their warm reaction and is excited to return.”

“These Royal Albert Hall shows will be rearranged for November 26 and 27 this year. All tickets for June 8 will be valid for November 26 and tickets for June 9 will be valid for November 27.

“He will carry on with this tour on Sunday in Cologne and then Paris before returning to London for his headline performance and BST Hyde Park on June 30th.”
